Samuel was boring in Tanzania and now lives in Rock Island, Illinois. Sammy grew up attending YouthHope programs! Now, he works with the children and youth programs at YouthHope's Moline Youth Center and as a Summer Camp Counselor at Camp Summit!

"I want to help other come to God. I also want to help people in bad situations in life. I want to help people feel wanted and loved and to know God will always be with them. He loves them the most!"

Sammy has shared his testimony of YouthHope's impact on his life at churches, kids club, and our annual banquet. His story is so encouraging for all the kids we work with!

"My first year at camp was in 2015 and my counselor was Austin. The fun we had at Camp Summit changed me. Austin gave me the future leadership award. The care and love he had for me helped develop me to be more like Christ."
