Samuel was boring in Tanzania and now lives in Rock Island, Illinois. Sammy grew up attending YouthHope programs! Now, he works with the children and youth programs at YouthHope's Moline Youth Center. 

"I want to help other come to God. I also want to help people in bad situations in life. I want to help people feel wanted and loved and to know God will always be with them. He loves them the most!"

This past spring, Sammy spoke at YouthHope's banquet and shared his story and testimony. He joined us as a camp counselor this past summer!

"My first year at camp was in 2015 and my counselor was Austin. The fun we had and it changed me. Austin gave me the future leadership award. The care and love he had for me helped develop me to be more like Christ."

Fun Fact: Samuel is the oldest of 12 siblings!
