Step 1: Volunteer Application

You can help bring youth HOPE! We have MANY volunteer opportunities, for different schedules, availabilities and skill sets!

Kids and teens need positive people to build relationships, instill values, inspire confidence, and develop character! Interested in changing a child or teen’s life?

All volunteers must complete a background check, attend an orientation session, and observe programs before making a commitment. Once your Volunteer Application has been submitted, your Background Check link will be sent. If you do not receive one, please click the link below to complete your Background Check.

Step 2: Volunteer Background Check

PLEASE SUBMIT A BACKGROUND CHECK TO COMPLETE YOUR VOLUNTEER APPLICATION PROCESS!

Background checks are done through a third-party service called Protect My Ministry. This online application isprotected and secure.

YouthHope will receive the results and status of the background check and the report will only include your contact information. No SSN or Private information will be accessible.

Background checks vary in length of time to clear. Some take 1 hour and some take 10 days. We will notify you if we receive the report back and contact you for next steps.

Volunteers help throughout the year to with programs for kids and teens, in the Food Pantry, driving, data entry, administrative duties, and with cleaning, organizing, and maintaining the facilities!

If you aren't sure what you would like to get involved with, please give us a call or join one of our volunteer onboarding and training sessions held throughout the year.

YouthHope also has seasonal volunteer opportunities including cooking at Camp Summit during the summer, assembling raffle and auction baskets for fundraising events, decorating for Christmas, and packing holiday food baskets.
