Urban kids have an alarming deficit of experiences outside their neighborhoods and housing complexes. Cookouts, retreats or a whole week at Camp Summit are vital to their development and pursuit of God. Kids and teens are forever changed by the experiences camp offers them.

Located in New Windsor, IL, 30 miles south of the Quad Cities, Camp Summit provides a place for low-income kids and teens to withdraw from the pressures and temptations of the streets. Campers participate in activities such as small group discussions, team building exercises and Bible studies that help them grow in personal discovery and spiritual understanding. Learning more about Jesus is the core of all teaching and learning experiences at camp. 

By being a camp counselor at Camp Summit you have the opportunity to help urban youth experience the wonders of nature and depth of God’s love. The children you will be investing in are forever changed by the experience that the Christian youth camp offers them.
