Minami is from Oahu, Hawai'i and studied at the Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, Illinois. She has been studying to become a licensed professional counselor.

Fun Fact: Minami means "beautiful waves" in Japanese!

Minami has worked with Awana for four years, was a camp counselor on Maui for children/teens for four summers, and spent a year and a half tutoring children of immigrants in Chinatown.

This summer, Minami spent her summer at Camp Summit as a summer counselor! She will be working with both the Moline Children and Teen Programs, as well as, teaching keyboard lessons and Hula in CRE8 STUDIOS. Please join us in praying for Minami!
